engin o-week!

ENGIN O-WEEK!
Day 1

was supposed to meet my grp @ 7.30am (outside lt7a). but i reached sch at ard 7.45 =P saw some new faces there cos some of them didnt come on fri.. haha had a hard time remembering n pronouncing their names. =X waited for quite some time before walking over to e UCC (university cultural centre) for our freshmen inauragation ceremony. we waited(again) both outside N inside e hall.. and e programme actually started at around 10am. saw pingping during e wait heeZ.. =D overall e ceremony was quite boring except for e performance by resonance N nus choir haha. e rest of e time we were juz clapping n clapping while they intro to us e diff deans, vice deans n blah blah... changed into our casual wear before gg for lunch then games!! heehee.. hmm think e games too relax liaoz.. think engin camp better lolx! =P after that was dinner.. followed by some lame games played within our own grp.. before gg for nite blindness. haha ho pin was infront of me.. while sebastian was behind me. stupid sebastian kept stepping on my feet.. then i said he will get it frm me later *evil laughs* as we were moving frm stations to stations.. there will always be someone around to dee siao us. some will spread sticky stuff (starch i think) on our hands, some put powder on our face N some spray water. there was this game where we got to pass a small piece of orange using our mouth down e row N everyone has to take a bite from it as we pass. when it was my turn.. e orange was super small.. e councillors told me it's only 1 mm out from e guy's mouth.. then i was thinking 1mm?! they muz be kidding man... *madness* but luckily in e end i dun have to eat it wahahha! =P

after bathing.. me, tzeting, alvin n khanh played dai di.. khanh went to slp, then alvin's gf N zhiheng joined us. e 5 of us played "asshole" dai di. ate supper @ e prata store.. saw an injured racoon on e road(think it was knocked by a car) as we were walking back to sch. it was bleeding quite badly.. we tried to move it back to e pavement but cant.. so we signalled e cars to change lane instead so that they wont bang onto it. i called e spca but it was not e working hrs then (3+ am) so alvin decided to call e police for help. as we were waiting for e police to come.. there was this helpful taxi driver who came out to help. haha he managed to get e racoon up e pavement N onto e grass. after a while e police came N we told them everything then we left. went back to e area above lt7a n took a 10 mins nap.

Day 2

*yawns* we waited outside lt7a at ard 5 plus for e bus to fetch us to our allocated location for e flag day. our grp got yishun.. haha since one of our grp members lives there.. we decided to leave our bags at his house heh. we reached yishun @ ard 7am.. went to mac for breakfast while waiting for e rest (who went home e nite b4) to come. slack ard 9 before we officially started collecting donations lolx. it was my first time doing flag.. me, ho pin, zhiheng N khanh walked over to e market to get donations. haha think it's quite fun but rather tiring.. quite surprised that singaporeans are actually quite generous N most of them wont ignore us. oh yar there's this funny guy that asked me why is there so many pple collecting donations N he wonders wat day is today. i told him "today is flag day".. then he said "today is tuesday" i was like -__-''' as we managed to collect 16 half cans of donations before noon.. we went back to north point for lunch @ e foodcourt. slacked until 1 plus before meeting alvin @ e van to return all e cans. home sweet home~~ haha junlin accompanied me to e bus interchange (cos i was e only one taking bus N im not sure of e way) wahahha.. so gentleman eh him.. =P

Day 3

talk on e cors by weixian. haha he was damn funny. after that was a sponsorship talk (business wk mag) heh i fell asleep during e talk.. oops! =X we went to e computer labs for cors bidding. guess too many pple logged in at e same time so e server was abit lagging.. haha found out that eric bidding e same sc gem module (intro to nano world) as me! psycho-ed daniel N sebastian to bid for that mod too lolx. in e end both of them bidded for it.. =P went for lunch @ e engin canteen. changed N gathered outside lt7a for e amazing race game. haha me, junlin N daniel wearing e same shirt! (e one in e matric pack) played some games (like e polar bear N finger game) as we waited for e race to start. we all ran throughout e game.. heehee didnt expect our grp to be so onZ sia~ haha! xD our first station was at lt3.. we reached there but cos we didnt see any station master so we tot we were early. but actually it's that we waited at e wrong place! they are actually behind lt3 (at e bridge there) -__- for e solving a puzzle game (jr's station) i sacrificed in order to get some hints.. got drawn on e face using camo cream. hahaha they drew a moutache on eugene's face lolx! damn funnie.. =D there's quite a few "treasure hunt" kind of games.. think i really suck in that haha.. didnt managed to find it all e time (except for once.. a card hidden behind e BS poster on e noticeboard) ran back to lt7a after completing all e stations.. realised that quite alot of grps had already arrived. we took a grp photo @ e stairs outside lt7a.. sian diao.. i took e photo with e camo cream still on my face. -__-'''
after that we sat around N played some "blackmagic" game.. last nite we also played that but i juz couldnt get it. haha but quite suprisingly today i finally got it man! besides that we still played e "ouch, orbi orbi" game.. haha duno why my reaction damn slow.. kept losing but luckily no forfeit hehe. oh yar.. talking abt forfeits.. there's this guy from other grps kena a forfeit. then he needs a help of 2 girls from our grp.. one to slap him N one to hug him. our grp only had 2 girls.. that is me N lysia. i got to do e hug one. then i was like..... -__-''' why it seemed like im e one getting e forfeit sia..
haha think our grp is quite obsessed with those "blackmagic" games.. junlin kept asking me n sebas abt e "open, close" thingy.. but we juz dun get it haha *same frequency* so i will juz anyhow say one..if it's wrong sabas will say e other one lolx! hao you mo qi~ wahahaha.. xD

Day 4
sentosa~!! quite sao xing cos it was drizzling.. cant sun-tan sobx. ='( we waited for e rain to stop @ e carpark near palawan beach before playing our games. almost all e games i have played before during o camp.. except e "NG 100 secs" & "poison ball".

Day 5
played some land games. e games were quite ok.. juz that e weather was too hot.
fright nite was fun haha. this time i really got scared by e "ghosts".. our first station was at e (library's) rooftop. me, ho pin, jun lin & eugene went up together. then we were spilted into 2 pairs.. me & jun lin went to get e lock, while ho pin & eugene went to get e key. we didnt see any "ghost" on our way.. it's was only when we r walking away e "ghost" popped up from nowhere N chased us from behind. we both got a shock N jun lin even screamed.. i cant help laughing at him after that wahahha! =X we then went into e 3rd door with ho pin & eugene.. e place was really dark N scary. we went in one by one.. N e door all of a sudden swung close behind us. we were supposed to chain up e "ghost" using our lock N key.. haha we didnt know how to do it at first.. so we juz chained it to a wooden stand n left quickly. as i walked out.. there was "someone" grabbing at my feet lolx. after that we walked back to our starting point.. on e way there's a sadako & a red-faced ghost. our second station was in a very dark room. i went in with jun lin, sebas n eugene. haha though there were 3 guys to protect me but i was still v scared. was grabbing onto jun lin N eugene cos it was really dark(nearly fell down e stairs) a "ghost" all of a sudden popped up from nowhere again.. found out that e ghost was actually someone i know (junrong) i was supposed to get a doll from a female ghost.. N we had to find e limbs of e doll from a nearby staircase. we then passed everything to e ghost N left. e 3 guys were infront.. i wanted to follow but there's this ghost that was stopping me from going out.. when it finally gave way i quicky grabbed someone's hand N ran for e exit. then there was this sudden scream from behind that really scared me.. made me scream too haha. was waiting @ e forum for our third station. jun lin N christine were asking some "qian bian wen da ti".. haha this time i really got to admit defeat lolx. oh yar in e end e rest of e stations were cancelled as it was already 1+ am. after bathing we all went to have supper @ e prata store. met zhaowei there haha.. she was with her bizad pple. after supper we went back to e area outside engin auditorium. me, zhi heng, eugene N jun lin stayed up to play bridge until 6am haha.. while e rest went to slp. then e 4 of us slept from 6 - 7am before going over to e pavilion to meet up with e rest of e grps. haha there was this prize griving ceremony.. N our grp won e most donations award for flag day~ heehee.. =P after which we walked to e SRC for rag. each fac N hall will present their float N a dance item during e rag. engin was e first grp to come in.. but cant really see a thing cos there were too many pple N so we were blocked. anyway i fell asleep during e presention of e floats cos i was really seh haha.

overall i feel that o-week was quite fun.. got to know lots of nice pple heeZ. *uranus rox!*
